A Project Manager’s Book of Forms: A Companion to the PMBOK® Guide – Fourth Edition

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Hot off the press!

While Cynthia Snyder Stackpole was working as the PMBOK® Guide - Fourth Edition project manager, she kept thinking, someone should make this easy to implement.

So she took all the outputs from the processes in the PMBOK® Guide and created forms that tracked with them.

She also made forms for some of the tools and techniques, and a few bonus forms that I think are helpful.

The audience for the Book of Forms is any project manager, new or experienced, and organizations that want to develop a consistent level of documentation for projects. Of course there is an electronic copy of all the forms on a CD-ROM in the back of the book, and it is completely customizable.

I personally think this is one the coolest contributions to the profession that she could make. It takes the information from the project management standard and makes it accessible and easily implementable.
