I will not go into details but I had a successful run by completing some high profile projects to the satisfaction of the clients and also my management. I always wanted to have my own company so I decided to move to Florida and start a construction company. Project management is an integral part of the construction industry and the PM knowledge really help to complete projects successfully. Starting a construction company in these times has not been easy but I have managed to stay afloat which brings me to my question. How can I market myself as a project manager to established companies which may have projects that need management. I would rather work as a consultant and not an employee, but don't know how to market myself.
